Dare to be confident and bold with mixing and matching your wardrobe.
I’ve always thought a good outfit had to ‘match.’ When I say ‘match,’ I mean the pattern or colors had to be coordinated a certain way to avoid a noticeable contrast. My purse had to match my shoes, or pants had to match my shirt/ jacket, etc. But later I began to realize how boring that way of thinking is. So, I finally decided to embrace fashion from an out-of-the-box perspective by mixing and matching classic trends to add a special twist to my personal style.
Mixing and matching is the art of combining bright colors, stripes, plaid, polka dots, floral, paisley and others patterns to make one trendy look. You don’t have to be a hipster or fashion guru to pull this off; But, it does take getting out of your comfort zone and trying new ways to merge different patterns to create your own personal look.
